It was Golden Putter day at Rosebud CC today where 196 ladies competed in the 4BBB Stableford charity event on both the North & South courses. The charity this year was Peninsula Home Hospice & a total of $6,600 was raised on the day for this very worthwhile charity.
Safety Beach was represented by Joan Spence & Lynn Gray, Lyn Greer & Linda Fredricson as well as Denise Law who partnered Lois Weldon a past member of Safety Beach. The rain stayed away so we all enjoyed the day & the lovely lunch afterwards. All of us played the North course with Joan & Lynn scoring 35 points, Lyn & Linda 36 points but Denise & Lois were the stars scoring an amazing 42 points & were announced as winners on the North course, fantastic effort ladies. Both were presented with a golf bag for winning. The winners of a Golden Putter each, scored 44 points so maybe next year Denise & Lois??
