Due to the poor state of the course underfoot combined with wet days it seems every Tuesday, there has been very little golf played on our course over the last 2 months! Safety Beach ladies though have had some great results in district events recently as per the summary below:

1. Barbara Bright won a nearest the pin at the Sorrento Plate event.
2. Cathy Roussis, Sally Dawson, Sue Pratt & Maureen Cousins were runners-up in the Cerberus Bowl, on count back, a super effort.
3. Barbara Bright, Colleen Warfield & Angie Waters finished mid-field at The National Goblet, an amzing effort as they beat teams from Commonwealth, Yarra Yarra, Rosebud, Huntingdale & The National to mention just a few.
4. Cathy Roussis & Linda Fredricson won the B Division at the Diamond Classic held at Eagle Ridge. Cathy missed out on the diamond by 2 points & could have won with better putting!
5. Angie Waters scored 29 points at The Portsea Challenge Bowl & won a golf ball.
