A misty morning greeted the 55 ladies playing in the 9-hole Ambrose event today. The ladies were playing the back 9 with a 9am shotgun start and many different challenges to deal with. Apparently many struggled trying to hit their tee shot with a blind fold on and putting without using a putter! Also teeing off with a left handed driver for a right handed player or vice versa seemed to create some laughs. It was entertaining watching players putting on the 18th green where Christmas decorations were strategically placed to make putting more challenging. Thanks to Barbara Bright for providing the decorations again this year. The most popular hole was obviously the 12th where there was a Baileys on offer for those who chose to endulge. Most ladies seemed to enjoy the game, some didn’t but all definitely loved the delicious lunch provided by Heather & Shane Johnson who did an amazing job to cater for the 70 people who attended. Many thanks to all members of the Ladies Committee for the great job they all did helping to organise the day. A big thanks to Barbara Sargent & Lucy Bond for setting up the club rooms for the day as well as buying the presents along with our President Viv Goodson.  Speaking of Viv who is away on a cruise, Joan Spence did a fabulous job standing in for Viv too.
