The ladies had an ‘Away Day’ today for Winter Solstice & played The Cups 9-hole course at The Dunes on a very pleasant Winter day. The format for the day was 4 person drop out ambrose with all teams being a mix of 9 & 18 hole players who all had a great time judging by the comments I heard when everyone came in. The course was lovely & dry with lots of run plus it was a bonus to see the sun for a while! A total of 28 players also enjoyed a lovely lunch from the Bistro menu on completion of their round along with 4 ladies who were unable to play due to injury or illness. A big thanks to Joan Spence who did an amazing job organising the day as well as managing to obtain prizes for all those who played. A super effort Joan! The Dunes were also really generous, offering carts at just $13 for the day so thanks to Andy & his team, we will be back for sure! Results for the day were:
