A very humid, overcast but calm day for the 2nd round of the Ladies Club Championships today. Another good turn out with 28 playing in the 18 hole event & 18 in the 9 hole event including one of our new lady members, Lina Battisti. Welcome Lina, great to see you out there today! The 18 hole ladies started on the back 9 to enable the 9 hole ladies to play this 9 for 1 round of their Championship. With many handicaps changing as a result of the introduction of the WHS there were some excellent Nett scores posted today as you can see from the results below:

18 Hole Players – B Grade Winner: Denise Law (28) Nett 66, Runner Up: Colleen Warfield (32) Nett 67. C Grade Winner: Sharon deHaan (37) Nett 71, Runner Up: Anita Powell (40) Nett 73, on count back from Gerri Robson (45). Congratulations to Denise, super score & to Sharon who just keeps on winning!

9 Hole Players – Winner: Lee Grubb (45) Nett 34, Runner Up: Susan Driver (45) Nett 42. Fabulous score Lee, we hope you will join the 18 hole competitions soon, you are definitely ready!
