Another fabulous day for golf today when all ladies were playing Stableford Foursomes or that ‘Sorry Partner’ game! The 18-hole ladies were also trying to qualify for the Doris Chambers event to be held at Gardiner’s Run on Friday 4th October 2019. Once again a great turn-out this week with 26 playing 18 holes & 16 playing 9 holes and both competitions were very close as the results below show:

18 Hole Players – Winners: Colleen Blackmore (29) & Barbara Bright (19) with 29 Points on count back from Runners Up: Helen Danson (39) & Judith Whittaker (30) who in turn won on count back from Enid Hamilton (41) & Cheryl Westcott (36) from Joan Spence (27) & Lynn Gray (27). Congratulations to Colleen & Barbara who will represent Safety Beach at Gardiner’s Run in October. Quite amazing that all 4 pairs had the same score.

9 Hole Players – Winners: Diane Tullberg (37) & Julie Galpin (43) with 17 Points from Runners Up: Ros Champion (45) & Gerri Robson (42) 16 Points. Well done ladies, very good scores!
