Another magnificent day for golf although it did get pretty warm by the time we got to the second 9. There were some very red faces in the club house yesterday & also some very tired bodies! Due to the Melbourne Cup last week today was also Stroke/Putting & the November Monthly Medal for the 18 hole players so a tough day to play a Stroke event. The 9 hole players also played Stroke and counted putts with the results for both events as follows:

18 Hole Players

B Grade – Winner: Linda Fredricson (25) 72 Runner Up: Val Morrison (31) 74. Val also won the putting with an amazing 22 putts which included 2 ferrets!

C Grade – Winner: Penny McCarthy (36) 73 Runner Up: Kim Reynolds (36) 76

Linda Fredricson was therefore the Monthly Medal winner for November.

9 Hole Players – Winner:  Liz Gregory (27) 35 Runner Up: Di Camilleri (45) 39. Liz also won the putting with 14 putts, great work Liz, we look forward to seeing you back with the 18 hole players soon!
