Ladies Golf Results – Tuesday 15th February 2022

Final Round of Tuesday Ladies Club Championships

A magic day for golf on Tuesday 15th February when a total of 48  ladies (28*18 hole players & 20*9 hole players) were playing Stroke in the final round of the Tuesday Club Championship events.

Results for the day are below.

18 Hole Event – 28 Players

B Grade Winner ($30 voucher): Kathy Iredale (24) Nett 66 on count back.

Runner Up ($15 voucher): Judith Whittaker (27) Nett 66.

C Grade Winner ($30 voucher): Susan Driver (44) Nett 68.

Runner Up ($15 voucher): Maureen Cousins (38) Nett 69.

Pro Ball Winners (Nett 73 or better): Gerri Robson, Liz Gregory, Deb Sein, Denise Law, Val Morrison, Linda Fredricson, Lee Grubb & Sue O’Connor. Barbara Bright missed out on count back.

9 Hole Event – 20 Players

Winner ($20 voucher): Margaret Carroll (45) Nett 31. A great score Margaret.

Runner Up ($10 voucher): Angela Hunter (40) Nett 37.

Pro Ball winners (Nett 40 or better): Joan Coombs, Jan Shaw, Enid Hamilton, Kath Dobson & Cheryl Saker.

A big congratulations to Angela Hunter who is the 9-hole Gross & Nett Champion for 2022 with 3 round totals of 169 & 107 respectively. Glenn Barber was runner up in both events with scores of 182 & 117 respectively. A fantastic effort from Glenn who suffered an awful hand injury recently. The 18-hole Champion Gross & Nett Champions will be decided after the final Saturday round is held with presentations next Tuesday.

NTP 8th Hole (1 ball): Kathy Iredale. NTP 17th  Hole (1 ball): Liz Gregory.

If you were not at presentations to collect your Pro Ball, please check in the Pro Shop.

Remember to still book for golf next Tuesday 22nd February by Friday night (18th) or you will not be in the draw. If you were not at presentations, note it is Par next week & the Captain’s Team versus the President’s team with the Duck Trophy up for grabs! Captain’s team players are to wear blue while President’s team players are to wear purple. The draw (a C or P next to your name will indicate which team you are in) will be emailed on Saturday all going well & One Golf will reflect the draw. A copy will also be in the Pro Shop on Saturday afternoon.

Reminder to please bring something that smells nice e.g. perfume, soap, scented candle for the hampers we plan to make up for raffles. Also please bring books, crafts, plants, jams, chutneys, sauce, golf items etc for the Trading Table we are having on the Challenge Bowl Day on Friday the 25th March. Jeanette Bourke has agreed to co-ordinate this so please bring items to the club & give to Jeanette.
