Ladies Golf Results – Tuesday 16th June 2020

The day started out OK, very overcast & quite mild but became miserable when the rain arrived and the wind picked up. Pretty good numbers though considering the weather was not so nice with 20*9 hole players & 21*18 hole players competing in the Stableford events.

I could not find a card for Wendy Simmons so sorry Wendy you were not in the Lucky Card draw today.

Results for the day are below, congratulations to all the winners and well done to all those who played:

18 Holes B Grade – Winner: Jodi Crago (30) 36 Points , Runner Up: Judith Whittaker (31) 33 Points. Great to see you back Jodi & obviously playing well. Thanks also for rescuing my score card from the lake!!

18 Holes C Grade – Winner: Val Morrison (34) 31 Points on count back from Runner Up: Sharon DeHaan (35) and Penny McCarthy who also had 31 Points.

9 Holes – Winner: Joan Coombs (41) 21 Points, Runner Up: Enid Hamilton (43) 17 Points. Fantastic score Joan, think you need to be back with the 18 hole players!

All winners receive a Coles Myer voucher ($20 for 18 holes, $15 for 9 holes) Runners Up receive 2 balls each and lucky card winners, a ball each. Pro ball winners now receive a golf ball from Shane. All prizes will be in the Pro Shop by Thursday morning.

To win a Pro Ball this week a score of 28 Points or better was required in the 18-hole event & 10 Points or better in the 9-hole event. Well done to the following 18 hole players: Penny McCarthy, Sue White, Cheryl Westcott, Barbara Bright & Lynn Gray. Sorry Maureen, you missed out on count back.  Congratulations to the 9 hole Pro Ball winners: Glenn Barber, Judy Ireland, Lina Battisti, Lee Grubb, & Caroline Lester. Ros Frame & Marj Burridge both missed out on count back, sorry ladies.

Congratulations to Val Morrison & Glenn Barber who were the Lucky card winners for this week. Great day for you both!

Remember also to book online for Thursday & Saturday if you want to play & for Tuesday next week as well when I have scheduled an Ambrose Day to have some fun.

Take care & keep warm.
