After all the wind & rain over the weekend the 39 ladies who played golf today were very happy to see a cool & overcast day with no wind. We have definitely been very lucky for our golf days recently. Both the 9 & 18 hole ladies were playing Stableford and these events were also the second round of the President’s Trophy for the 18 hole players & President’s Prize for the 9 hole players. All players started from the 10th hole today as the 9 hole players do not get the opportunity to play the back nine very often. Going forward the plan is to do this once a month during Summer, Autumn & Spring.

The results for the day are below:

B Grade – Winner: Lynn Gray (29) 30 Points, Runner Up: Angie Waters (27) 28 Points. C Grade Winner: Kim Reynolds (35) 32 Points, Runner Up: Deb Sein (45) 31 Points. Congratulations ladies some good scores considering the cooler conditions so great to see! Lyn Greer is the winner of the President’s Trophy for 2018 with a 2 round total of 5 Down. Congratulations Lyn & to all those who played, there were 5 players within 1 shot of Lyn so quite an exciting contest.

9 Hole Winner: Jeanette Bourke (45) 21 Points, Runner Up: Barbara Sargent (40) 16 Points. Jeanette Bourke is the winner of the President’s Prize for 2018 with a 2 round total of 1 Up, a super effort. Congratulations to Jeanette & to all the 9 hole players who competed over the 2 weeks. The neatest card prize went to Diane Tullberg who played in the 9 hole event.

Good luck to our 2 teams (Barbara Bright/Cathy Roussis, Kim Reynolds/Viv Goodson & Angie Waters/Lynn Gray, Colleen Warfield/Sue Pratt) competing for the Safety Beach Ladies Challenge Bowl at our course on Friday. The format is 4BBB Stableford with a shotgun start at 8.30am & there are 12 visiting teams hoping to win also!
