A glorious Spring day greeted the 36 ladies who played in the 9 or 18 hole Ambrose events (3 or 4 Person) held today. The course was pretty wet again after more rain on Sunday but everyone was very happy to be able to finally play some golf! Based on the noise in the clubhouse afterwards it seems everyone enjoyed the day and had a lot of news to catch up on. The results for the day are below:

18 Hole Players – Winners: Barbara Bright (19) Jenny Williamson (34) Cathy Roussis (35) & Joan Spence (28) Nett 62.5, Runners Up: Vicki Mallcott (36) Joan Coombs (38) & Michele Cooke (25) Nett 66.5. Well done everyone!

9 Hole Players – Winners: Sharon DeHaan (40) Wendy Simmons (45) Judy Ireland (45) & Lucy Bond (45) Nett 36.875, Runners Up: Lee Grubb (45) Kath Dobson (45) Joan Davies (45) & Dot Crompton (45) Nett 40.5.

NTP’s – 8th Hole: Cathy Roussis, 17th Hole: Lyn Greer.

Pro Balls – 18 Hole Players: Liz Gregory, Lyn Greer, Denise Law & Linda Fredricson. 9 Hole Players: Sue White, Gerri Robson & Di Camilleri.

The event next week is Stableford Split 6 (18 holes) & Split 3 (9 holes) which is a lot of fun but you need a partner to play. So when you book online make sure you book next to each other on the booking sheet. The draw for both events will be emailed to everyone on Friday or Saturday.
