A very windy overcast day to start golf today and all ladies were playing in the 2nd round of the Club Championships over 9 or 18 holes. It wasn’t long before the weather took a turn for the worse with heavy rain and even stronger winds arriving making conditions very difficult. A few ladies decided the weather was too bad and called it a day early but many stayed out there and finished their respective events and came in very wet and cold. Well done to all who finished! Results for the day are below:

18 Hole Players – B Grade Winner: Linda Fredricson (20) Nett 77, Runner Up: Milica Cole (14) Nett 81, C Grade Winner: Sue O’Connor (35) Nett 80, Runner Up: Penny McCarthy (35) Nett 85. Well done to all ladies and their playing partners for persevering in such trying conditions!

9 Hole Players – Winner: Gerri Robson (45) Nett 32, Runner Up: Pat Tindal (44) Nett 35.
