What a glorious day again with 42 ladies enjoying perfect conditions for golf. It is not often there is no wind & clear sky in May & after a cool start to the day the warmth of the sun had us all taking off those jumpers pretty quickly. The event today was Stroke & Putting with the 18 hole ladies also competing for the Monthly Medal & the final Qualifying spot for the Silver Spoon event to be held in November at Sandhurst GC. Results for today are below:

B Grade – Winner: Colleen Warfield (30) Nett 70, Runner Up: Joan Spence (29) Nett 72, C Grade – Winner: Penny McCarthy (35) Nett 74, Runner Up: Maureen Cousins (43) Nett 76 on count back from Corina Cross. Congratulations Colleen on her first medal at the club & also for winning the putting with 26 putts!

9 Hole Ladies – Winner: Joan Davies (39) Nett 33 on count back from Runner Up: Enid Hamilton (40) who pipped Kath Dobson (45) Di Camilleri (44) & Denise Marmion (33) who also had scores of Nett 33 so a great contest. Well done ladies!  Kath Dobson was the winner of the 9 hole putting with 13 putts.

It’s a busy time with lots of events at the moment.
