Ladies Golf Results – Tuesday 1st October 2019

What a sensational Spring day for golf today, all the ladies enjoyed the weather however some struggled a bit with golf! A total of 35 ladies were playing Stroke and counting putts with the 18 hole ladies playing for the October Monthly Medal. The scores generally showed it has been a couple of months since everyone played Stroke and with no tee up anymore it was not a surprise. The course has recovered incredibly well given the amount of rain experienced during the Winter months. Congratulations to all the winners, see details below:

18 Hole Players – B Grade Winner: Barbara Bright (19) Nett 71, Runner Up: Colleen Warfield (28) Nett 106. C Grade Winner: Pam Scholtz (35) Nett 81, Runner Up: Cathy Roussis (35) Nett 84. With an excellent 71 Barbara is the October Medal winner.

9 Hole Players – Winner: Joan Davies (40) Nett 36, Runner Up: Gerri Robson (41) Nett 37. A very close contest here!

All players will receive a free gift on arrival and there will be raffles as well as a sausage sizzle on completion of the round. The format will be 4 Person Drop Out Ambrose so it should be a fun day. Be sure to book online by Thursday night so a draw can be sent out by Saturday at the latest.

Good luck to Colleen Blackmore & Barbara Bright who are representing Safety Beach ladies at the Doris Chambers State Final at Gardiner’s Run on Friday. All the best to the Matchplay team who play Cerberus at Cerberus on Friday.
