The final round of the Ladies Club Championships for both the 9 & 18 hole players saw plenty of challenges handed out to those who played. There was a very strong wind which seemed almost gale force at times, sprinklers still watering the first green which was saturated plus workers equipment lurking in the trees beside the 11th fairway! A tough day for golf so well done to all those who played. Results were as follows:

Championships: Club Champion – Barbara Bright (21) Gross 297, B Grade Nett Champion: Denise Law (29) 213, C Grade Nett Champion: Maureen Cousins (43) 229. 9 Hole Club Champion: Joan Davies (40) 40 Points. Well done ladies & particularly to our Club Champions for 2018. All events this year were  pretty close with only a couple of shots separating players.

Day Competition Results: Winner B Grade: Denise Law (28) Nett 70, Runner Up: Barbara Bright (21) Nett 79. Winner C Grade: Maureen Cousins (44) Nett 74, Runner Up: Glenn Barber (44) Nett 76.

9 Hole Ladies Winner: Jeanette Bourke (43) 15 Points on count back from Lucy Bond (45) who was Runner Up also with 15 Points.

NTP 6th Hole: Cathy Roussis, 12th Hole: Barbara Bright.

Pro Balls went to:  Anita Powell, Val Morrison, Joan Coombs, Lyn Greer & Viv Goodson.

A special prize today for the neatest card went to Joan Coombs.
