A total of 42 ladies played today in the first round of the 4BBB Stableford Championships for both the 9 & 18 hole players. There was a cool breeze & overcast skies but luckily the rain stayed away. In both events several pairs are within 2-5 points so next week will be interesting! Results for the day were as follows:

18 Hole Players – Winners: Jean Harle (28) & Helen Danson (42) 41 Points, Runners Up: Denise Law (27) & Val Morrison (34) 39 Points on count back from Corina Cross & Joan Coombs also with 39 Points. Great scores everyone!

9 Hole Players – Winners: Julie Galpin (43) & Ilse Urlus (45) 19 Points, Runners Up: Pat Tindall (45) & Barbara Clarke (37) 18 Points on count back from Kath Dobson & Joan Davies also with 18 points. Very good golf ladies, super scores also!
