A very warm, calm and overcast morning for golf today with many threatening dark clouds. The forecast said to expect thunder & lightning but luckily all the ladies had finished playing before this arrived! The event for both the 9 & 18-hole players was Par with the 18-hole players competing in the 1st round of the Senga McAleer Trophy. The results for the day were as follows:

18-Hole Players – B Grade Winner: Lyn Greer (31) Square, on count back from Runner Up: Colleen Blackmore (32) Square. C Grade Winner: Val Morrison (33) 1 Up, Runner Up: Deb Sein (43) Square, on count back from Penny McCarthy & Viv Goodson. A very close contest for the trophy so next week will be interesting!

9-Hole Players – Winner: Judy Ireland (45) 2 Up, Runner Up: Barb Sargent (35) Square. A great score Judy, no doubt due to your 3 ferrets in a row on the first three holes, a super effort!
