Once again a nice day for ladies golf on a Tuesday and quite mild for this time of year. All ladies were playing Par and it was the 1st round of the Captain’s Trophy for both the 9 & 18 hole players. A good turn out again this week with 26 ladies in the 18-hole event and 17 in the 9-hole event, great to see! Both events were closely contested as the results show:

18 Hole Players – Winner B Grade: Colleen Blackmore (29) 2 Down, Runner Up: Michele Cooke (24) 4 Down on count back from Barbara Bright and Liz Gregory. Winner C Grade: Joan Coombs (37) 4 Down, Runner Up: Pam Scholtz (35) 5 Down.

9 Hole Players – Winner: Diane Tullberg (37) 4 Down on count back from Runner Up: Pat Tindal (42) also 4 Down, a very popular score today! Well done to everyone and good luck for the 2nd round next week! Reminder: next week the 18-hole players will start on the back 9 so the 9-hole players can play these holes for a change.
