Ladies Golf Results – Tuesday 22nd February 2022

Another fine day for golf on Tuesday but very windy when a total of 40  ladies (32*18 hole players & 8*9 hole players) were playing Par in the Captain’s Team versus the President’s team events for the much sought after Duck Trophy! A little down on numbers in the 9 hole event due to holidays, injury & illness.

Congratulations to Barbara Bright who is the 18-hole Club Champion for 2022 with a 3 round gross total of 273. Linda Fredricson & Kathy Iredale were joint runners up with 284. Susan Driver presented Barbara with some gorgeous flowers from Peninsula Drieds. A thoroughly deserved winner!

Below are the gross & nett results for all players who completed the 3 rounds in each event.

The Jillia lucky door prize winning ticket numbers were E20 (Barbara Bright who can’t stop winning!) & E38, a visiting lady who was present to collect her prize. Judging by the number of bags some of our ladies had, it looks like the Jillia clothing sale was a big success.

Remember to book for golf next Tuesday 1st March by Friday night (25th February) or you will not be in the draw. If you were not at presentations, note it is Stroke & Putting next week plus the March Monthly Medal & 2nd Qualifier for the Silver Spoon event for the 18-hole ladies.

The seeded draw will be sent on Saturday all going well & One Golf will also reflect the draw plus a copy will be in the Pro Shop on Saturday afternoon.

Reminder to please bring something that smells nice e.g. perfume, soap, scented candle for the hampers we plan to make up for raffles. Also please bring books, crafts, plants, jams, chutneys, sauce, golf items etc for the Trading Table we are having on the Challenge Bowl Day on Friday the 25th March. Jeanette Bourke has agreed to co-ordinate this so please bring items to the club & Jeanette will collect them.

Thanks again for your help with this. Take care & stay safe.
