Ladies Golf Results – Tuesday 22nd June 2021

A very cool day for golf yesterday but no wind & the sun did make brief appearances. There were still 42 ladies on course, pretty good considering so many have headed north in search of warmer weather! All ladies were counting putts as well while the 18-hole players were competing for the June Monthly Medal & to qualify for the Silver Spoon event. Some great scores again, particularly in C Grade, as the results below show, congratulations to the winners:

It has been decided to change the start times next week to 8.30am for the 18-hole players & 9.45am for the 9-hole players as the general feeling was 9am & 10.30am were just too late.

Shane has advised that Frankston GC are not accepting visitors to their club due to COVID so unfortunately this away day will not be happening. Maybe we’ll make it next year!

Remember to book by Thursday night for next Tuesday 29th June when it is Stableford Foursomes for all players plus the 18-hole ladies will be competing to qualify for the Doris Chambers event at Southern GC on Friday 22nd October. As this is a pairs event, remember to enter together on the booking sheet & note there is a $4 entry fee per pair for the 18-hole ladies next week. The draw will be emailed to everyone entered on Friday morning & will also be in One Golf.

Enjoy the rest of the week & stay safe.
