Final Round 4BBB Championship Events
The perfect day for golf yesterday with no wind, fortunately the heavy showers & thunder forecast did not arrive, the showers only lasted a short time & most ladies had finished. There were 50 ladies (32*18 hole players & 18*9 hole players) again who competed in the 2nd round of the 4BBB Stableford Club Championship events. The course is in wonderful condition, this is reflected in the scores being recorded the last few weeks.
I did forget to mention yesterday that Jean Harle found a ball marker, one for Black Bull GC. If this is yours see Jean to collect.

18 Hole Event – 32 Players
Winners ($30 voucher each): Lou Verstraelen (36) & Sharon De Haan (26) 46 Points. A incredible score ladies, congratulations & well done!
Runners Up ($15 voucher each): Gerri Robson (30) & Joan Spence (30) 44 Points. Another excellent score, great job.
Congratulations to Lou & Sharon who are the 4BBB Champions for 2022 with an impressive 2 round total of 87 Points. Well done also to Barbara Sargent & Maureen Cousins who were runners up with 84 Points.
Pro Ball Winners (41 Points or better): Cheryl Westcott, Liz Gregory, Ros Champion & Penny McCarthy, Colleen Blackmore, Barbara Bright, Vicki Mallcott & Kathy Iredale. Wendy Simmons & Jackie Mazoletti also had 41 Points but missed on count back, sorry ladies.
9 Hole Event – 18 Players
Winners ($15 each voucher): Merilyn Williams (45) & Glenn Barber (45) 19 Points on count back. A very good score on the back 9 which included a ferret by Enid on the 12th!
Runners Up ($10 voucher each): Enid Hamilton & Angela Hunter (39) 19 Points.
Pro Ball winners (16 Points or better): Irene Hedges, Pat Webster, Judith Hunter & Margaret Carroll.
Congratulations to Enid & Angela who are the 9-hole 4BBB Champions for 2022 with an excellent 2 round total of 39 Points. The runners up were Merilyn Williams & Glenn Barber with a very good total of 35 Points.
NTP 4th Hole (1 ball): Penny McCarthy.
NTP 13th Hole (1 ball): Kathy Iredale.
If you were not at presentations to collect your Pro Ball or voucher, please check in the Pro Shop.
Remember to book for golf next Tuesday 29th March by Friday night (25th) or you will not be in the draw. Please note that it is Par & the Grandmother’s Trophy for both the 9 & 18 hole players next week.
The draw will be emailed on Saturday morning & will also be reflected in One Golf.
