A great turnout today with 32*18 hole players and 16*9 hole players entered in the 4BBB Stableford events. The 18 hole ladies were aiming to qualify for the Royal Women’s Hospital (RWH) State Final to be held at Southern GC on Monday 28th October. It was a little overcast all day but with no wind so perfect for golf as the fantastic scores for the day indicate below:

18 Hole Players – Winners: Joan Coombs (37) & Teresa Lincoln (20) 41 Points, Runners Up: Jean Harle (29) & Ros Frame (25) 40 Points on count back from Cathy Roussis (36) & Pam Scholtz (35). Congratulations to the winners and runners up as both pairs qualify to play at Southern. Well done & good luck for later in the year!

A big congratulations to Sheradyn Johnson who played at number 1 for the Junior Girls Victorian Team which played in Queensland and won the Interstate Series. Sheradyn was undefeated at the tournament, a super effort! Sheradyn is celebrating her 18th Birthday on Wednesday, so we hope you have a great day!

Next week all ladies are playing Par, everyone’s favourite game! The 18 hole players will be competing for the Stan Petty Trophy.
