An overcast but calm day greeted a total of 37 ladies for golf today & luckily the rain stayed away. The 18-hole ladies were playing the 2nd round of the Stroke, Foursomes Championship while the 9-hole ladies were playing Stableford. Results for the day are below:

18-Hole Players – Winners: Joan Spence (28) & Lynn Gray (30) Nett 69, Runners Up: Viv Goodson (34) & Barb Sargent (37) Nett 69.5. Well done ladies, very close & great scores by both pairs. The Foursomes Champions for 2018 are Milica Cole (12) & Linda Fredricson (23) with a gross 195 over the 2 rounds. Thanks to both sets of playing partners (Denise Law & Val Morrison and Corina Cross & Pam Scholtz) for your great company over the last 2 weeks as well as the entertainment provided with your many trick shots, particularly Corina!

9-Hole Players – Winner: Jeanette Bourke (39) 17 Points, Runner Up: Pat Tindal (44) 15 Points.

Next week is the AGM & Appreciation lunch but prior to this there will be a 9-Hole 4 Person Ambrose event with a shotgun start at 9am & we will be playing the back 9. Ensure your name is entered via the on-line booking sheet by Thursday night as the draw will be done on Friday and emailed out to everyone then put in the Pro Shop on Friday afternoon. Late entries will not be accepted for this one.
