Ladies Golf Results – Tuesday 25th May 2021

An overcast, mild & very windy day for the final round of the Foursomes events today. Despite the forecast there were still 32*18 hole players & 16*9-hole players, so good to see so many keen ladies out there. One thing I will ask of all ladies when we hold team events is to please liaise with your partner if you are unable to play.

2 Monthly Medal winners from February (Sharon De Haan) & April (Sue White) were finally able to be present to receive their medal.

The results for the day are below:

18-Hole Event: 32 Players

Winners ($30 voucher each): Robyn Hubble (39) & Sue O’Connor (33) Nett 71.

Runners Up ($15 voucher each): Barbara Sargent (36) & Viv Goodson (35) Nett 72.5 so pretty close!

Pro Ball Winners (Nett 76 or better): Gerri Robson, Sue White, Sharon De Haan, Deb Sein, Penny McCarthy, Anne Anderson, Joan Coombs & Ros Frame on count back from Liz Gregory, Kathy Iredale who just missed out.

Remember to book by Thursday night for next Tuesday 1st June when it is Stroke & Putting again plus the 18-hole ladies are competing for the Monthly Medal & some are playing off for the Silver Spoon spot. Good luck to all ladies both Tuesday & Saturday winners.

The seeded draw for both groups will be emailed to everyone on Friday & One Golf will reflect the draw for those who have trouble with the attachments I send.

For the benefit of those ladies not present today, we hope to finalise the polo shirts this week so please contact me ASAP if you wish to order. The price will be confirmed once we know how many have been ordered.

We are looking at organising a ladies golf away day at Frankston in July (probably on a Thursday)for those still in Victoria. Cost will be $50 & you can play 9 or 18 holes for this price plus bring your own food & drink. If you have not put your name on the list, please advise via return email if interested.

Keep warm & stay safe everyone!
