An overcast & cool day greeted the 31 lady golfers today for the ‘Yellow Ball’ Stableford event for both the 9 & 18 hole players. Each player scored their own Stableford card but also had a team card. Only 2 Stableford scores are recorded per hole in this format, the lowest score & the yellow ball score. The yellow ball is rotated from player to player in sequence & if it is lost then only the lowest Stableford score of the team is recorded on the team card. As you can imagine the little yellow ball can cause stress for the player who uses it!! Results for the day are below:

18 Hole Players – Winners: Jodi Crago (35) Angie Waters (27) & Linda Fredricson (24) 64 Points, Runners Up: Joan Coombs (39) Helen Danson (39) Colleen Warfield (30) & Teresa Lincoln (26) 55 Points. Best Stableford Score: Linda Fredricson (24) 41 Points.

9 Hole Players – Winners: Denise Marmion (33) Lee Grubb (45) & Ilse Urlus (45) 25 Points, Runners Up: Judy Ireland (45) Joan Davies (40) & Diana Camilleri (43) 23 Points. Best Stableford Score: Enid Hamilton (40) 20 Points.
