Another perfect day for golf despite the early cloud & a few dribbles of rain which soon cleared to a nice sunny morning. A total of 44 ladies played today in the Par event which also doubled as the Captain’s team versus the President’s team. Both teams were given lots of goodies to start while the Captain’s Table on the 7th hole was very popular. With the choice of a gin & tonic, squash as well as jelly beans and liquorice many players would have been happy to stay there rather than continue playing golf! The results for the day are below:

18 Hole Players – B Grade Winner: Jodi Crago (29) 2 Up, Runner Up: Colleen Blackmore (30) 2 Down, C Grade Winner: June Roach (39) 2 Down, Runner Up: Penny McCarthy (35) 3 Down on count back from Anita Powell & Deb Sein. Great score Jodi, that handicap has gone down again so well done!

9 Hole Players – Winner: Dot Crompton (45) All Square on count back from Runner Up: Barbara Clarke (35). A huge congratulations to Dot who was thrilled to record her first competition win, great to see. Well done on persevering Dot!

The President’s team were resounding winners with a total of 100 Down while the Captain’s team were 130 Down. Congratulations to Viv and all members of her team for winning the Duck Trophy for 2019!
