A very foggy & gloomy day greeted the 33 ladies who played in the Ambrose event today. Where there were 4 ladies in a team the format was drop out ambrose while those with 3 played the standard ambrose format. There were 2 separate competitions on the front & back 9 today. All the18 hole players competed in the front 9 event & these ladies then met up with 9 hole players on the 10th tee to form different teams to play in the back 9 event. It seemed to be a fun day for all even if the sun waited until everyone finished before making an appearance! Results for the day are below:

Front 9 Ambrose Winners: Milica Cole, Cathy Roussis, Val Morrison & Viv Goodson (7.5) 31.5. Runners Up: Lynn Gray, Lynn Greer, Anita Powell & Helen Danson (8.62) 32.38.

Back 9 Ambrose Winners: Diane Tullberg, Susan Driver, Milica Cole & Cathy Roussis (8.5) 35.5 Runners Up: Helen Danson, Lynn Gray & Barbara Clarke (8.91) 37.09.

Welcome to our latest new lady members: Karen Fisher, Jodi Crago, Jude Lattee & Kim Plumridge. Karen played in her first competition today while Jodi, Jude & Kim are doing cards to obtain their handicaps. Great to see some more new faces at the club!
