Another cool windy day greeted the 31 brave ladies who played today in the 2nd round of the Captain’s Trophy. The event was Stableford for all players with 12*9-hole players and 19*18-hole players so a bit down on previous weeks, no doubt due to the change in the weather. The 18 hole ladies started on the back 9 to allow the 9 hole ladies to play the back 9 for a change. The conditions were very tough out there as most of the scores below indicate:

18 Hole Players – B Grade Winner: Val Morrison (32) 31 Points, Runner Up: Colleen Warfield (28) 29 Points, C Grade Winner: Sue O’Connor (33) 26 Points, Runner Up: Kim Reynolds (33) 25 Points. Well done, great score Val in the conditions today. Captain’s Trophy Winner is Colleen Blackmore (28) with a 2 round total of 6 Down while Val Morrison (32) was Runner Up with 8 Down. Congratulations Colleen, another trophy to add to the others you have already collected this year!

9 Hole Players – Winner: Wendy Simmons (45) 12 Points, Runner Up: Caroline Lester (45) 9 Points. Congratulations to Wendy on her first competition win and to Caroline, another new member who has only just started competition golf as well. Great to see! Captain’s Trophy Winner is Diane Tullberg (41) with a 2 round total of 9 Down while Judy Ireland was Runner Up with 12 Down. Congratulations Diane!
