Stableford Foursomes, Doris Chambers Qualifier
What a sensational day for the Stableford Foursomes events today. After a cool start, it was a lovely sunny day with no wind so perfect for golf & for soaking up some much needed vitamin D! Despite many ladies being away it was still a pretty good turn-out with 28*18 hole players & 12*9-hole players, good to see.
Again, a reminder to all ladies that when we hold teams/pairs events to please liaise with your partner/s if you are unable to play & also let Linda know so a replacement player/s can be found.
Congratulations to our winning pair from today who will represent the Valley at the Southern GC on Friday 22nd October in the Doris Chambers State final. Good Luck ladies, play well!

Remember to book by Thursday night for next Tuesday 6th July when it is Stableford for all players & the 18-hole ladies are competing for the July Monthly Medal. The seeded draw for both groups will be emailed to everyone on Friday & One Golf will reflect the draw for those who have trouble with the attachments sent.
Rule Clarification. I was asked for a rule clarification in relation to the 1st hole. If a ball hit from the tee lands in the penalty area on the left before the bridge, in this case the next shot should be played from the drop zone which can be found on the left hand side of the tee block over the bridge.
Enjoy the rest of the week ladies & stay safe!
