Another overcast & very windy day but no rain thankfully although it was cool. Conditions were tough with the wind increasing during the round which made putting & in fact staying upright quite a challenge! A total of 33 ladies played golf today in the Stableford events for the 9 & 18 hole players, a great turn out given the conditions. This was also the second round of the Captain’s Trophy & Captain’s Prize. Results for the day are below:

B Grade Winner: Liz Gregory (28) 28 Points, Runner Up: Angie Waters (26) 27 Points. C Grade Winner: Maureen Cousins (42) 29 Points, Runner Up: Colleen Blackmore (33) 28 Points. The winner of the Captain’s Trophy with an overall score of 5 Down & on count back from Maureen Cousins was Angie Waters for the second year in a row. Congratulations Angie & well done to Maureen on a great contest!

9 Hole Winner: Jeanette Bourke (39) 16 Points, Runner Up: Judy Ireland (45) 14 Points. The winner of the Captain’s Prize with an overall score of 6 Down & on count back from Joan Davies was Pat Tindall. Congratulations to Pat & Joan, on another tight contest!
