Ladies Golf Results – Tuesday 2nd June 2020

Winter has well & truly arrived & clearly only the crazy keen golfers play in these cooler conditions judging by the numbers today, only 10*9 hole players & 14*18 hole players competing in the Stableford events. The course was pretty wet but tee up helps and luckily there was no rain.

The score cards placed in the box were scanned safely today by Shane however 2 were missing – Di Camilleri & Enid Hamilton. Please put your card in the scorecard box inside the Pro Shop on the left by the door. If your card is not there you will not have a chance to win a ball with the lucky card draw which replaces the NTP prizes.

Results for the day are below, congratulations to the winners & well done to all those tough ladies who played today:

  1. 18 Hole Players – Winner: Judith Whittaker (32) 34 Points, Runner Up: Barbara Bright (19 )32 Points. Not the bridesmaid this time Judith!
  2. 9 Hole Players – Winner: Wendy Simmons (45) 17 Points, Runner Up: Cheryl Westcott (37) 14 Points. Congratulations to Wendy who also had a ferret today

All winners receive a Coles Myer voucher which can be collected from the Pro Shop while pro ball winners now receive a golf ball from Shane. All ball winners (runners up, 2 each and lucky card winners, 1 each) can collect their prize from Shane in the Pro Shop. All prizes will be there by Thursday morning and will have your name on.

To win a Pro Ball in the 18 hole event a score of 29 or better was required. Well done to Cathy Roussis, Milica Cole & Sharon DeHaan and great job Milica for making 2 birdies today and scoring a ferret as well! For the 9 hole players to win a Pro Ball a score of 11 points or better was required. Well done to  Lee Grubb & Glenn Barber. Commiserations to Judy Ireland who missed out on count back for the 2nd week running, maybe next week Judy!

Lucky card winners (instead of NTP) were drawn by Shane. These ladies can also collect a ball from the Pro Shop. Congratulations to Wendy Simmons (great day for you Wendy) & Colleen Blackmore who are the winners this week.

Remember to book online for the Par competition event on the 9th June which doubles as a Mulligan Day as well for those who wish to participate. There will be a Mulligan Box in the Pro Shop to leave your money – $1 per Mulligan with maximum of 2 for the 9 hole players and 4 for the 18 hole players. Note: It is not compulsory to buy a mulligan. Competition fees are the same as usual i.e. $5 for the 9 hole players and $7 for the 18 hole players.

See you next week!
