Another perfect day for golf today, a little cool but no wind so no excuses although many struggled with putting. The greens were still very slick as they were prepared for Pro Am on the weekend. A total of 48 ladies played in the 9 (20) & 18 (28) hole events with Stroke & Putting the competition for the day. It was also the March Monthly Medal and 2nd round of Silver Spoon qualifying for the 18 hole ladies plus there was also a play-off between Barbara Bright & Val Morrison to decide the winner of the February Monthly Medal. 18 Hole Players – B Grade Winner: Helen Davis (28) Nett 67, Runner Up: Denise Law (27) Nett 70, on count back from Judith Whittaker. C Grade Winner: Cathy Roussis (39) Nett 72 on count back from Runner Up: Lyn Greer (33) Nett 72. Congratulations to Helen who is new to the club so this is her first medal win with us. Well done to Barbara Bright who with a Nett 72 was the winner of the play-off for the February Medal. Great job ladies!
