A much better day than those experienced over the weekend particularly Saturday when all of the ladies decided indoor pursuits were the way to go so there was no event held! It was a bit cooler than the last few Tuesdays due to the strong wind but the course was not too bad considering the amount of rain that fell over the weekend.

There were 23*18 hole players in the Stroke – Medal of Medalists event & 11*9 hole players in the Stableford event with the winners as follows:

B Grade – Winner: Angie Waters (28) 72, Runner Up: Liz Gregory (29) 74.

C Grade – Winner: Sue Pratt (43) 68, Runner Up: Cathy Roussis (37) 74. Well done on a great score Sue, your handicap has now dropped a full stroke!

Medal of Medalists: Jean Harle (28) 76. Congratulations Jean!

9 Holers – Winner: Renate Weiner (45) 13 points, Runner Up: Irene Hedges (45) 12 points.

Next week is the ladies Presentation Day with a 9 hole 3 person fun ambrose event to be held starting at 9am. Please ensure the new ladies are made welcome & that they join with more experienced golfers. Lunch is being catered for this day & will be at around 12.30pm (or once all the players are in!) with the presentation of trophies at around 2pm. There will be nibbles for those players who finish well before 12.30pm. It will be a great day with over 60 ladies attending, a great effort! The ladies committee look forward to seeing you all there!
