A total of 22 ladies braved the cool windy conditions to play Stableford today, what a change from the beautiful day yesterday! There were some showers as well for a while so not pleasant at all. The 9 hole competition started with 10 ladies however some didn’t finish due to the weather but there were some very good scores from a couple of ladies who did complete the 9 holes as the results below show. The 18 hole ladies (12) were playing for the August Monthly Medal and everyone found the conditions very tough. As there were so few players there was only 1 division with results below:
18 Hole Players – Winner: Joan Spence (28) 28 Points, Runner Up: Cheryl Westcott (36) 27 Points. Congratulations to Joan who is the August Monthly Medal winner!
9 Hole Players – Winner: Susan Driver (43) 20 Points, Runner Up: Lee Grubb (45) 16 Points. Amazing score Susan & excellent score from Lee also.
NTP’s – 4th Hole: Joan Spence, 17th Hole: Kim Reynolds.
Pro Balls – 18 Hole Players: Kim Reynolds, Sue O’Connor & Helen Danson. 9 Hole Players: Pat Webster & Diane Tullberg.
Next week is Canadian Foursomes, remember to book online by Wednesday night. Note: No need to find a partner as for both the 9 & 18 hole events the draw will be done randomly and emailed out.
