A great turn out of 25 ladies for the 2nd Monthly Medal day of the year, everyone’s favourite event Stroke & Putting! Today was also the 1st round of the Ladies Club Championship, Silver Spoon & Mona McLeod Brooch for the 18 hole players. The day started off being very mild so perfect for golf before warming up considerably by the time the last groups completed their rounds & came in looking quite hot.

The 9 hole ladies also turned out in force with 11 ladies playing in the 1st round of their Club Championship Stableford event plus 7 additional players in the day competition (those not eligible for Club Champs) & 3 new ladies doing cards to obtain their handicaps so a total of 21 players.

So it was a very busy day with a total of 46 ladies playing golf, so great to see! Results were as follows:

9 Hole Winner: Joan Davies (40) 15 Points, Runner Up: Julie Galpin (43) 12 Points, on count back from Barbara Clarke & Renate Weiner also with 12 Points.

18 Hole Winner B Grade: Joan Spence (31) Nett 67, Runner Up: Denise Law (29) Nett 71. C Grade Winner : Kim Reynolds (37) Nett 70, Runner Up: Lyn Greer (33) Nett 73 on count back from Anita Powell. Congratulations to Joan Spence who is our Monthly Medal winner for February with a super score of Nett 67! The putting was won by Judith Whittaker with 39 putts, well done Judith.
