Yet another fabulous day for golf with no wind & lots of lovely sunshine. A total of 37 ladies were competing in the Stableford events for the 9 and 18 hole players with 20 ladies in the 9 hole event, a great result. With several of our regular 18 hole players away, injured or sick this meant there were more in the 9 hole event today for the first time in quite a while.All players started from the 10th tee today which made a change particularly for the 9 hole ladies who mostly enjoyed the change of scenery. The 18 hole ladies each had to play 2 balls on the 17th hole due to drainage works being undertaken on the 2nd hole which was out of play.

The results for the day are below:

B Grade – Winner: Liz Gregory (29) 32 Points, Runner Up: Angie Waters (27) 31 Points. C Grade – Winner: Helen Danson (42) 35 Points, Runner Up: Viv Goodson on count back from Colleen Blackmore. Helen is in great form after also winning the Ladies Saturday competition!

9 Holes – Winner: Diane Tullberg (42) 13 Points, Runner Up: Barbara Clarke (40) 12 Points on count back from Enid Hamilton & Barb Sargent. A close contest again, well done ladies!
