What an awful day for golf today when we all thought there would only be showers there was heavy rain & wind! Not surprisingly many ladies did not finish as they were soaked & cold but congratulations to all those who completed their round in very tough conditions. Par is hard enough on a good day so well done all! Today was the first round of the President’s Trophy for both the 9 & 18 hole ladies with all results below:

18 Hole Players – B Grade Winner: Denise Law (26) 4 Down, Runner Up: Viv Goodson (32) 5 Down on count back from Jean Harle. C Grade Winner: Deb Sein (39) 2 Down, Runner Up: Val Morrison (33) 4 Down.

9 Hole Players – Winner: Jeanette Bourke (35) Square, Runner Up: Dot Crompton (45) 1 Down.

NTP’s – 4th Hole: Diane Tullberg, 17th Hole: Cathy Roussis.

Pro Balls – 18 Hole Players: Cathy Roussis, Helen Danson, Linda Fredricson, Joan Spence & Judith Whittaker. 9 Hole Players: Diane Tullberg, Judy Ireland & Lee Grubb.

Congratulations to all the winners & good luck for the second round next week when the event is Stableford with the 9 hole ladies playing the back 9 and the 18 hole ladies starting on the back 9.
