The team lost to Portsea 6 – 1 . Well done to Wayne Coustley who won on the 20th hole. Conditions were extremely windy and the results were all reasonably close. Thanks to the team for representing the club and we all hope that the next match goes our way.
Our captain Brian Munn has been diagnosed with Ross River Fever .It is more than likely he had this when playing on Sunday so I think he did well to even play. Hope you recover quickly Brian. Our next game is Sunday week against Cerberus at Sorrento, so if you can get down and support the team.
Haggle winning #55
was drawn last night and the winners were
Neil & Linda Fredricson & Frazer Rankine.
Captains Ramblings
Next week second round of the Alan Coustley Trophy .
Week after that Canadian Foursomes, need a partner and this game is where both players tee-off , select best shot the play alternate shot(stroke).
Following week is then Monthly Medal. Please remember to play off the plates not blocks, over eighties you must not use the yellow tee blocks on the 12th.
Again a reminder if you are not sure of a rule either ring pro shop for advice or play two balls on the hole in question and resolve once the round is over.
Please remember to repair pitch marks and divots even if they are not caused by you.
