 Captains Thoughts

First off it was good to see a good turn out of members today. Come on nine hole players let us see numbers doubling while the course is in good condition.

Talking of course condition, can all of us please try and repair divots and pitch marks even if they are not caused by you. A quick repair would mean that these conditions would take at the most a week to heal otherwise it can be several weeks and everyone the complains if their ball lands in divots or pitch marks.

I will continue to bring this matter up until all members fix these as a matter of course. By the way if everybody not just somebody does this then the club captain will be a lot less grumpy as his back will not hurt as much from bending over to fix pitch marks.

Reminder: Next week is the Frank McAleer Ambrose Cup and the club would appreciate a full field for this event in memory of a fantastic clubman.
