SAFETY BEACH GOLF CLUB RAFFLE 29.8.2015

A dull, dreary day with very low numbers and golf scores didn’t help
the raffle figures very much this week. Ticket buyers will be rather
disheartened to find out the news that Jason Williams has won another
meat tray. That’s two in three weeks. Add another a month or so
earlier and it seems that the Williams family is gradually coming
back into the form shown last year when they recorded numerous wins.
The second meat tray was won by golf coach Shane Johnson. Shane
heralded the event with “My wife will be stoked when she sees this!”
If you put that win with the leftovers from Friday’s steak night the
protein levels in the Johnson family’s meals will be very high indeed
for the coming couple of weeks. The Crown Lager six-pack was won by
the inimitable and irascible Brian Munn. Munnzie has been riding on
success lately, with raffle wins of all sorts and great results from
the Western Doggies. Enjoy it while it lasts Mr Munn. Come next month
and we may see you looking the worse for wear with nappy changing and
all that goes with it!

Speaking of meat trays, last Friday was the first in the spring
session of steak nights. Two Cliffex meat trays were won by June
Roach and John Farthing, so I’m happy to announce that of the four
meat tray prizes this weekend all were won by different people, and
that makes me as pleased as those individual winners.
